This will be held at The Ark, Turners Hill, West Sussex, RH10 4RA, 10.30 for 11.00 on Monday 28 January. Giles Ramsay will present three lectures on "From Shakespeare to Stoppart: 450 Years of Theatre History". Area SIDs are carefully planned and employ only the pick of TAS registered lecturers. TAS Sussex Area expects to make a surplus from these events, most of which is reinvested in Area Young Arts projects, a national priorty. There are two one hour lectures, separated by a comfort break, before lunch which can be taken as a buffet meal with wine upstairs from the main auditorium, or as bring-your-own sandwiches downstairs (tea and coffee provided). A final lecture at 14.00 will normally end about an hour later. Early parking at The Ark is advised, however Turners Hill is within reasonable taxi distance of Three Bridges railway station, especially so if the ride is shared. The venue is relatively cheap to hire, and can accommodate a large number of attendees. This meets our priorities and allows TAS Sussex Area to post a financial surplus, which can then help to support TAS missions in our county. For further details and a booking form, click here.
